Dear All

SUISAG from Switzerland is looking for a new project leader in our Genetics
team. The position is based in Sempach, Switzerland.

We are an innovative and value-oriented company for Swiss pig producers and
international genetics customers. With around 90 employees at five
locations, we are a leader in Swiss genetics, artificial insemination,
health programmes and service levels!

The Swiss breeding program is geared not only towards economic efficiency
but also, in particular, towards animal-friendly husbandry systems and meat
quality. Our unique herd-book breeding program is based on dam and sire
lines. Through innovative research projects in collaboration with
international partners, our breeding program is constantly being developed.
Our current research projects concern breeding regarding healthy claws and
limbs by using digital data collection tools and behavioural traits to
improve animal welfare. To do this, we make use of modern technologies such
as pressure mats and AI-based observation systems.
