Distances: Linkage mapping
Building a map we could use all pair wise analyses for linkage and then try to build a map. However, with more than 2 loci distances measured in recombination rates are not additive because of the occurrence of double recombinants and interference (crossing over in one region prevents crossovers in adjacent regions).
